Sorry, but I can get the image upload to work
« on: August 20, 2007, 10:28:15 AM »

Hi Chris,

First of all - Blogg-X is really a relief! It takes so much pain out of the Joomla experience, and is definitely worth a donation if I can just get this last piece in place.

However, there's one thing I don't seem to be able to work out. I have searched the forum and read several posts on the problem, and also tried to work my way around it, but with no success.

I can browse the image directories, everything works fine at that end. But when I try to upload an image from my hard drive, I get this error about the mdeia directory settings.

I have tried everything I can think of, changed the base path, the image folder settings, moved the slashes back and forth, but nothing gets me past this hurdle. Can you help me out on this? If the image upload won't work, it will be hard for me to use this app, which I like so much…

You must go into your Account Settings and select or
create a media directory.

Using a Mac, I am unable to use and external drive
and could not select a drive, so I created and
enter \media  as the directory and put my
graphics in there.  You'll then be able to see the
list of available graphics
