I was going to test your app on a non-production site to try and help. I notice however that you're converting your app to a XML-RPC soon and have stopped development of the current structure. I'm excited about your app and would consider recommending it to clients to post to their sites in the future--but will sit tight and wait if you're close to your next release.
Dan...I have made alot of progress in the last couple days with XML-RPC. The current version of Blogg-X appears to pretty stable, I haven't experienced any major problems and haven't had reports of any. Just be sure that if you do try to use the current version that the host supports the remote database connections.
As far as the next beta with XML-RPC I don't want to put any time frame on it because of my upcoming move from Europe to the US. I am also going to add in some of the features that people have requested. The GUI will remain basically unchanged but the program will have a GUI desktop program and a Joomla! module.
Thanks for the interest and hopefully soon you will have a new version to play with.

If you're moving to the midsouthern part of the country, give me a holler! I'll give you a hand moving the couch into the living room! Gosh... now that I offered, I hope you don't have a piano
Good luck on the move, and let me be the first to say "Welcome to the US of A". We'll look forward to the next version of your much needed widget!
I am headed to northern Louisiana, and luckily I have a company doing all the moving for me, just takes forever for my stuff to float across the ocean...
I will definately keep you and everyone else updated on the progress of Blogg-X.
mcgyver... Thanks for trying out Blogg-X. This is exactly the reason I needed other people to test the software out, I hadn't tried what you described. I believe the reason this is happening is because when you delete the post from the Joomla interface it's not really deleted from the database, it's just changing a value in the database. I believe if you looked in the trash on the Joomla admin portion the post would still be shown. Once deleted from there it should then also be gone in Blogg-X. If you selected the post in Blogg-X and removed it from there it would be immediately deleted from the database.
I may need to take a look at the way this works again. Maybe it would be better for Blogg-X to act as Joomla does and just make the content appear deleted and have it reside in the trash until the trash is emptied. I could also modify Blogg-X to not show those that Joomla! has marked as deleted as well.
Does anyone else have any input on which would be the most ideal?
