balam... Sorry it took so long to respond I have been moving and my access to the internet has been drastically reduced. To configure you just use the username and password of any super administrator or publisher on the site. That should be all that you need.
Enjoy...

Love the software, used the previous version a lot - but can't get the new one to work w/ the admin login or any publisher login - keeps saying the username incorrect although it's not
Perhaps the problem w/ is the mambot it's trying to call up - do I need to install a mambot for this to work?

I've been reading the text under blogg-x on the site, but it is still asking for the mambot. Where can I get this mambot?
Or do I need to do something else?

I'm sorry you are having problems getting Blogg-X to work. This is probably the paragraph you missed:
"Before Blogg-X will function correctly the mambot needs to loaded on your Joomla! website. The Blogg-X mambot is loaded just like any other mambot via the administration interface. The mambot is named "mam_blogg-x_server.zip" and is located in the Blogg-X installation directory. For most users it will be found in "C:\Program Files\Blogg-X\". "
That should get you going in the right direction. Let me know if you have any other problems...

It should still be there, take a look in the "required" and "bin" directories of Blogg-X. When I can I will attach the mambot here.
Thanks...

umm.. sorry it's nowhere in the installation dir. There is no 'required' dir at all and in the bin directory there are zip files only with theme packs in them. please provide us with the mambot as blog-x app is unusable without it Thanks for you efforts and great support.

I redownloaded the installation file from iobinary.com and after install, the mambot was where it's supposed to be, in the Blogg-X installation directory. So I am unsure why you are not seeing it.
Anyway attached below is the mambot.
Thanks..

Here are the files inside 'bin' directory In the root folder, there are three files without any extension (readme, copying etc.) and some other java specific folders such as classes and source, however I looked in all of them but there was no mambot file. Am I missing something? BTW there is no attached file belows your post or do I have to register to see it ..hmmm let me see Thanks for your time and support P.S I have created quite a few visual styles, so do let me know if you need any of them for blog-x skins. check out here http://www.gfxcanvas.com http://mohsinnaqi.deviantart.com
