Folks
I've now downloaded Blogg-X three times, and tried installing in three different directories. At about a third of the way in, I get an area cannot create Blog...exe. Any clues what may be my problem?

Ryan,

I have been bad, it's been very difficult the last year or so to get alot of work done on Blogg-X and the website.  I have actually began to look at another programming technology to base Blogg-X on that may be more compatible and faster for everyone to use.  I'm still in the test phases but I have remote information being pulled to the desktop.

How is everything going with you?  Where are you at now?  You can email me at the admin @ iobinary.com account if you want.

Chris

I don't know exactly why this error appears sometimes, but certainly i see this behavior when the Category or Section have spanish characters like accents (like the word "Canadá" or "Últimas Noticias") or ñ.

I experiment this issue when I loaded a pre-builded article, and the message appears, but load the contents with no troubles, but when I published the page, the result is not an updated version, but a blank page instead.

The test was done in:

Win XP SP2
Joomla 1.0.12
Blogg-X 2.0.13
Java Machine installed using the default downloader of Blogg-X

After testing Blogg-X I have a few suggestions that would ne nice to be consider:

Image properties:
Positioning
Text flow: Text top, Text Middle, Text bottom, float left, float right
Distance to surrounding text: top xx pixels, bottom xx pixels left xx pixels right xx pixels.

I leave a picture to better illustrate this one.

If you need, I can provide the source of this WySiWyg to your investigation Smiley

I dropped a few lines in the Contact section to Chris about my offering as official spanish translator to Blogg-X. I'm ready!

I am almost happy with joomla... but it definitly lacks some full-featured and easy to use submission component! I love the core/base system, but the content submission is not on the same level... or of the same class IMHO. Nice to see, that someone else is working on that "hole".

If i had enough time and knowledge, i would have done a mod/hack to the core-submit on my own... but that is far beyond my knowledge and spare time ;-) I recently found ninjoomla's Super-Submit, which has some! of the parameters, but its definitly too beta and buggy at the moment.

My Favourite missing feature:

- Please, could you add ALL additional publishing-parameters? (see publishing tab in backend)
Maybe with a display-option (hide/show) in the preferences?!!
I guess default values makes sense, too!

TIA 1001
