I am almost happy with joomla... but it definitly lacks some full-featured and easy to use submission component! I love the core/base system, but the content submission is not on the same level... or of the same class IMHO. Nice to see, that someone else is working on that "hole".

If i had enough time and knowledge, i would have done a mod/hack to the core-submit on my own... but that is far beyond my knowledge and spare time ;-) I recently found ninjoomla's Super-Submit, which has some! of the parameters, but its definitly too beta and buggy at the moment.

My Favourite missing feature:

- Please, could you add ALL additional publishing-parameters? (see publishing tab in backend)
Maybe with a display-option (hide/show) in the preferences?!!
I guess default values makes sense, too!

TIA 1001

Hey Chris,

How about you update your site!  It's been way too long, and you've become lackadaisical with your program updates.

Hi all

Like many I installed Blogg X with great antisipation, but could not get it to communicate with my site.

I got a massive fright though when I tried to log into my Joomla Admin (as usual) and I could not LOG IN.  I've been in lock down ever since and AM VERY CONCERNED as I cannot get into my own website. I've been on all the Joomla Forums and tried virtually everything to reset and recoup my password, but still no luck.

Please help! My site has been 1 year in the making and rebuilding it would be impossible.

I did all the above and Blogg X can't connect to my site.

HOWEVER, the real problem is that I acn't log back into my Joomla Admin!!! Cry

My site is completely locked down. I even used several methods to log into the dtabase from the backend to change the password and still no luck.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated...PLEASE

 Attention ****ALL Mac OSX**** users

The process of looking at the jos_user file on your servers database then opening up blogg-x "package contents" you'll see a file called settings.xml open it in text edit and copy the really long password you grabed from your database and copy it in place of the almost as long password in the settings file. After which save and open up the program and you'll be good!

We might be on our own. It looks like the
developer and moderator hasn't posted
anything since  September 09, 2007.

I heard word of this program thru some Joomla Blogs,
as a new post so I assumed that it was being
actively developed. Chris may have become
overwhelmed and took on some new projects.

Let's hope he surfaces and let's us know that
this is project is alive and well. If he's not going
to continue to work on it, maybe someone will
pick it  up. It has great potential and I use it
"as is". Event sent a donation and not a peep
from developer.

Once you create the post, save it (with .xml extension)
then look to right of editor at the

"Publish Action... "

Choose "Publish" and it should take if you have your settings right.
