Would it be possible to enter the joomla site, username and password and have it post? I would love to have a tool like this for users of a site to update their blogs with.
I would love for it to be that simple as well. But currently the program is not really dealing with the Joomla! site at all, just the database tables it works from. Your idea is one that I have given some thought to and just haven't come up with a good solution for yet. I will definately be keeping this in mind though and maybe someone else has suggestions for ideas on getting to that point.
This is something that I am looking at really hard now. Not only would finding a simpler way to use Blogg-X be great for the current users, but if I can get the latest idea to work it will remove the "remote database connections" support requirement. This will allow for all those that currently can't use the program to give it a shot. Best guess for this latest idea, if it even works, is still probably about two weeks away.
