Marco... Sorry for the problems. I once again believe I have this fixed. Haven't been able to replicate it after the latest changes. I would recommend clearing your internet explorer cookies and trying again. If you still have problems please PM me and I will send you a direct download link.
I appear to be having the same problem. I recieve the "Please login" message when I go to the download section. I have tried clearing IE cookies; have also tried Firefox with the same issue.
Note that when I login it says "unable to login, please check your cookie settings". I have tried various settings to no avail.
Many thanks in advance for the assistance - I am looking forward to Blogg-X, I think it is the last piece I need for my Joomla based sites -
Regards,
Tim D.
Whoops. Interesting foolishness on my part, but interesting error nevertheless. I logged in all in lowercase - when I re-checked my registration e-mail, it showed the first letter of my username in uppercase. Typed in "Timdav" this time and everything worked. As an experiment, I logged out and typed in "timdav" and got the error messages again. However, I still had access to post to the forums. Might still be worth taking a look at, or altering the error message to get the user to review their caps.

smellyrat...nice nick by the way! I just tested the mambot download here from work ( I know bad employee) but all seems to be well. The mambot is included in the installation directory after installing the desktop app. It was added separately because sometimes the mambot was updated while the desktop app remained the same. With version 2.11 the most current mambot is included with the desktop app.

Same here. Something is being case sensitive in the bridge from SMF to Joomla.
I received the same error, but after fooling around with it, it worked! I used windows standard logic: Lets restart (log out & log back in), and maybe it will be ok. Guess I was right...
erikleenaars... Can you tell me if the password was the same afterwards that worked correctly. In other words was it the same password just in all lowercase that worked? Any chance of sending me the non working password via PM? I just want to check this against a problem I believe I have already tracked down and repaired.
