With the help of some forum members I have tracked down the problem.
Basically users with correct FTP settings were getting a "FTP Connection
Failure" indication when running the "Test Connection". This also
prevented them from uploading any photos as well.
The problem is caused by the respective web site hosts not having FTP
enabled in the PHP configuration. I will remove this requirement from
Blogg-X and release a new version shortly.
