Blogg-X is a cross platform (OS X, Windows XP, Linux) content management tool for websites based on the Joomla! CMS.  Blogg-X runs locally on your computer as a desktop application.  Utilizing built in WYSIWYG and HTML source editors you can post rich content on your Joomla! site without the use of the web browser. 

 

What does this mean?  How much time does it take to post news on your Joomla! site?  Using Blogg-X there is no need to log into your Joomla! site, no clicking the “Submit News” link...

You can find the Blogg-X 2.13 release on the downloads page. Please keep any comments in the forum. NOTE: this version has only been updated to support Joomla! 1.0.13 and is backward compatible with the older versions of Joomla!. Also there is a new mambot included which needs to be installed on all the sites that this new version will be communicating with.

this nice blogg-x is a very usefull thing. but it is not fully support UNICODE UTF8

it can post the intro text in unicode but the title text and categories are not in unicode. and because of this. this software is still useless for many languages.

Custom css : aristotelis
I have seen that there has been some topics referring to css, I would like to simply specify and make sure that our (and i think of many-many others) case is included...
We are using JCE and custom css for all our sites.
The only thing that stops us from really adopting blogg-x is its lack of support for our styles (that we have in a combo-box in the jce ui when editing).
If blogg-x could identify and use that css the same way, it would be really great!
