I have been very reluctant to release the Windows version of DesktopContent for Mambo because I haven't been satisfied with the default Java graphical interface on Windows. This is where it's evident that Apple has spent alot of time customizing the Java environment so Java apps look right at home in OS X. But I have found what I have been looking for and the final feature to be added in this release is a skin selector. The program will allow the user to select from multiple skins and use they one they prefer. At this time the skin selector is fully functional and works as expected, but I will be adding support for additional themes. The feature freeze is to basically force me to stop playing with new ideas and features and cleanup the code base. The current code contains alot of debugging code and some "unfriendly" naming conventions. I figure a couple days of cleanup and restructuring and the program should be ready...How many times have I said that now?
