Help! I am using blogg-x on our joomla site and it has suddenly stopped working. We have 20 guys that all have blogg-x using it to publish to the site. It says connecting to server...but never connects. We have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but same results. Please help

I had the same thing happen yesterday after updating from Joomla 1.5.15 to 1.5.20. Everything was working fine before the update, and now the desktop app just sits with a constant 'connecting' without ever completing the handshake. I tried reinstalling the server plugin, but that didn't fix anything.

I have one 1.5.15 site left that I might try installing Bloggx on just to see what happens.

So I installed Bloggx on my one remaining 1.5.15 site, and it worked fine. Then I checked my sites that I'd updated to 1.5.20 and they all now work as well! I have no idea what happened, what changed. None of the updated sites worked yesterday, on multiple attempts throughout the day; and on those same sites other xml-rpc connections (Akeeba Remote and Live Writer) worked perfectly after the update. Strange. But I'm glad to have Bloggx back.
